The HEureka Generator Association from Zamość and the Slovak organization Center for Youth and Development from Košice have joined forces to present and develop the Debate Methodology as an important tool in working with youth in the European Union.
Project Small Actions – Big Impacts aims to enhance the key competencies of young people from Poland and Slovakia.
Over 15 months of activities in Košice and Zamość, we will develop skills in debating, critical thinking, and active participation in society. We will explore new horizons during two study visits for participants from both EU countries. We will actively participate in 30 local activities organized each month in Poland and Slovakia, learning in practice how to engage youth in local community life. During our visibility campaign in both EU countries, our local communities will learn more about the project and its outcomes, and how to be part of this effective and engaging work with youth.
We will create a Methodological Guide containing valuable tips and tools for debating and working with youth. The guide will be published in Polish, Slovak, and English. We will support the building of partnership relations between non-governmental organizations in Poland and Slovakia, creating a lasting network of cooperation in the region. We will empower young leaders and co-create more inclusive European communities.
Stay tuned for updates on the project tab on our website in the coming months. We will post information about ongoing work there. We submitted the project proposal by March 5, 2024, and we are awaiting assessment of our proposal by the Slovak National Agency for the Erasmus+ programme.
