The Podedwórze Municipal Public Library was established in 1948. The basis of the library's activity is the Act on Libraries and the statute adopted by the resolution of the Podedwórze Commune Council. The main goal of the library is: to promote reading and culture through activities serving the local community. The library organizes: library lessons, tourist and sightseeing trips, participates in the organization of environmental and cultural events. Its activities meet the information and reading needs of the local community. The library collects information about the town, county, region and makes it available to all interested parties.
