Child Protection Standards

The HEureka Generator Association on 5th of August participated in a training to prepare for the implementation of Child Protection Standards in our organization.

During the training, the following topics were discussed:

• Obligations imposed on employers and organizers
• Child protection standards
• Inspections and sanctions for non-compliance with the standards
• Policy for protecting children from harm
• Development and implementation of the policy
• Monitoring and evaluation
• Identification of undesirable behaviors
• Proper response to suspected harm
• Documenting suspicions of harm

The training was conducted by legal advisor Natalia Kolbus and attorney Natalia Kwiatkowska from the Legalden law firm in Warsaw.
