On April 12–13, 2025, a training course titled Unlocking the World: Project Starter Pack took place in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine. The event was organized by the HEureka Generator Association in cooperation with the Ukrainian organization SVOI. The aim of the course was to introduce young people from Zaporizhzhia to the opportunities available for Ukrainian youth to participate in international educational projects, including youth exchanges and training courses implemented under programs such as Erasmus+ and the Polish-Ukrainian Council of Youth Exchange.

During the two-day training, participants took part in a series of presentations and workshops covering the following topics:
Partnership between HEureka Generator and SVOI; Structure and timelines of youth projects; Types of projects: youth exchange, training course, seminar; Intercultural communication (workshop); Group dynamics and meeting planning; Role of the leader vs. role of the participant – responsibilities; Preparation before the project: rules, contracts, insurance, GDPR; Visibility and dissemination of project results; Conflict resolution – case studies and finding solutions; Project budget; reimbursement of travel costs; accommodation and meals; How to safely find opportunities to participate in international projects.

Thanks to the course, the young participants gained not only valuable knowledge but also strong motivation to engage in international activities. We hope to meet them again soon during future joint projects!
