The aim of the training course was to establish a lasting partnership between participants, share experiences, and encourage youth from all over Europe to work on topic of sustainability. The HEureka Generator Association joined the project partnership due to the previous cooperations with members of an informal youth group called ABOVE. Our previous contacts were good foundation for this partnership.

As we are coordinating currently an environmentally-themed project within the European Erasmus+ programme (Key Action 2), the training course topic provided us with the opportunity to learn from the experiences of other organizations in the broad field of ecology. Besides our organization, representatives from non-governmental organizations from Italy, Georgia, Greece, Lithuania, and Denmark also participated in the project.
Members of our organization, Aleksandra Chudek and Dominika Jóźwiakowska, along with Paweł Skoczek from our Polish partner organization, the Yellow Sheep Foundation, represented us during this TC. Our representatives started their journey to Hungary on 26th of August.
We worked on topics such as sustainable development, renewable energy resources, and, in general, we aimed to design our future world to mitigate the dangers associated with climate change. It was an intense week full of workshops, and we hope our future is 'green', Paweł said.
After the meeting in Hungary, participants also met online to summarize the previous in-person meeting and share the experiences they gained. During this virtual final meeting, participants not only exchanged experiences but also planned the next steps with the assistance of an external expert, Joscha Wirtz, who has extensive experience in advising on sustainable development projects.
