Bridging Generations: Strengthening Community Bonds is a project prepared by the Croatian organization Razvojna Udruga Ludbreg and the association HEureka Generator within Key Action 2 of the European Erasmus+ program.

The project aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between Croatian and Polish educators in the field of elderly care and education, enhance the capacity of Razvojna Udruga Ludbreg and HEureka Generator in supporting seniors, and improve the digital skills of seniors. Additionally, the project seeks to strengthen seniors' sense of social belonging, engage local stakeholders in sustainable actions, raise awareness of the challenges faced by older adults, and disseminate results within the local community to strengthen intergenerational ties and social networks.

Partners will achieve the project's objectives by organizing two peer-to-peer sessions in Ludbreg and Zamość, two online educational sessions, and providing a well-curated toolkit for activity implementation. Moreover, eight pilot workshops tailored to the needs of seniors but inclusive of youth will be conducted. Throughout the project duration, four trainers will be trained, and two public intergenerational events will be held. The project aims to engage at least 40 seniors (20 per country) and establish connections with local stakeholders for future collaboration.

Stay tuned for updates on our website tab in the coming months. We will post information about ongoing work here. We submit the project proposal by March 5, 2024, and await the assessment of our proposal by the Croatian National Agency of the Erasmus+ program.
