We have completed the implementation of the Polish-Ukrainian youth project entitled 'Let's Debate'. The aim of the project was to advertise the method of exchanging views, which is the Oxford debate, encourage young people to be an active citizens of their community, meet the inhabitants of the Lubelskie region and create a friendly atmosphere in relations between Polish and Ukrainian youth.

The exchange started on August 30 in Zwierzyniec, where integration, team building and debate training took place. After the debate training, the young people took part in internal debates. The theses of the debates were focused on active citizenship, intercultural issues, as well as security related to the use of modern technologies.

The 'Let's Debate' youth exchange was carried out by the HEureka Generator between 30 of August and 6 of September.

We carried all the activities in frames of the project from 01 July to 06 October 2018.

On September 5, from the early hours, participants met with the inhabitants of our region to encourage them be active citizens and to promote the results of the 'Let's Debate'. They also advertised the Polish-Ukrainian Council of Youth Exchange, which supports young Poles and Ukrainians to meet together and exchange experiences. We visited 5 our partner schools that day. The visits were an introduction to further activities aimed at initiationg debate tournaments at schools. In total, over 250 young people participated in meetings.

The group also visited the Old Town in Zamość to rest after all the project promotions. We also distributed hand-made leaflets about the our meeting.

We invite you to check wideo recordings of the debates and video materials showing the entire project.
